Admixture

As for pumping concrete admixtures, it mainly includes two types: water reducing agent and air-entraining agent. But in some cases, such as for mass concrete, sometimes mixes with moderate amount of expanding agent to prevent shrinkage cracks.

Water-reducing agent is mixed into the concrete mixture to reduce water cement ratio of concrete in the case of keeping concrete performance significantly. Due to the lower water cement ratio, after the concrete has hardened, the various properties (strength, durability, impermeability) can also be improved.
