This is a low-intensity wear compared to abrasive wear. Since this wear and abrasive wear are similar in many respects, some scholars regard it as a form of abrasive wear, that is, round and blunt wear. (4) Friction and wear will only occur if the friction factor is large and the tear strength of the rubber is very low. When this wear occurs, the rubber skin is torn, curled, stretched, and peeled off from the rubber surface to form curled rubber crumb. When the screw pump is dry and friction, the rotor and the stator frictionally heat up, the rubber temperature rises, the tear strength of the rubber is lowered, the rubber surface resin is aged and sticky, so that the friction and wear are intensified, and the stator is quickly damaged.
