Rotor Vs Stator

Abrasive wear, which is caused by uneven surface of the screw pump rotor and mechanical impurities in the extracted liquid. This form of wear is caused by the rubber surface being contacted by the sharp edges of the abrasive particles or by the sharp projections on the rough surface of the screw.

The wear mode of the single screw pump stator.

(1) Abrasive wear, which is caused by uneven surface of the screw pump rotor and mechanical impurities in the extracted liquid. This form of wear is caused by the rubber surface being contacted by the sharp edges of the abrasive particles or by the sharp projections on the rough surface of the screw. Abrasive wear is divided into dry abrasive wear and wet abrasive wear. The so-called wet abrasive wear is the presence of a liquid medium between the abrasive particles and the rubber. Dry abrasive wear is the absence of a liquid medium between the abrasive particles and the rubber. Under the normal working conditions of the screw pump, wet abrasive wear is one of the main forms of screw pump wear. (2) Erosion wear, also known as erosion wear, is caused by the flow between the rotor and stator of the single screw pump. Under the normal working conditions of the screw pump, this is also one of the main forms of screw pump wear
